Most of us probably had our own opinions on what the map remake should be. But there was one thing that all of (or most of) the maps that were requested have in common. Halo 3.
I think that one of the later map packs for Halo 4 should be a halo 3 map pack with maybe three or four maps. What do you think about 343 making a Halo 3 Map Pack and what do you think the maps should be if they make one? It doesn’t matter if it is from one of the map packs for Halo 3.
There were 2 Halo 3 maps that were popular in the whole remake fiasco, Valhalla and Sandtrap. I saw way more people wanting Halo 3 remakes.
I’d rather have a Halo 2/CE:PC map pack. The thing is, I can still put Halo 3 in my disk-tray and play a game online with the Halo 3 maps. But that is not the same with Halo 2 or CE (except for Anniversary and PC, but it’s not the same). That’s why I’ll be disappointed if Valhalla is the remake (not saying it is or isn’t, we don’t really know). The only Halo 3 remake I’d want to see is Sand Trap.
I’d rather play a map that I haven’t seen in a while, like Containment, or Waterworks, or Death Island, or Terminal.
I would preffer a “retro pack” with maps of 1, 2 and 3.

You can still play Halo 2 and Halo 1 on your xbox 360.
Download Xbox connect, let it search for your Xbox … Insert Halo 2/1 to your xbox 360 and play online. Last time I played Halo 2 there were about 1000 players online.

But the thing is I have to go through Xbox Connect, and not Xbox Live. Halo 3 is a 360 title. It can be played with no worries (until the servers are dropped, that is). But with Halo 2 (unless I go through a source like Connect) I can’t do that.
I don’t know why we shouldn’t bring back a Halo 2 map instead of a Halo 3 map. Or heck, bring back one from 2 and one from 3.

Use xbconnect.
A Halo 2 map pack should come first. It would only make sense, as all of Halo 3’s maps are still fully playable.
-Yoink- all the other -Yoink-, I just wanna see a proper remake of sidewinder at some point in the new trilogy.

We’ll most likely get our Halo 2 maps if they make a Halo 2 Anniversary.

Halo 2 > Halo 3 remakes. Too many fans couldn’t give a rat’s -Yoink- about Halo 3’s maps, and rightfully so.

I agree with the other two, but Reach’s maps can die in a fire for all I care. Especially Uncaged.
If 343 made a Halo 3 map pack + the Halo 3 remake that’s on disk… this is exactly what I would do…
As soon as I found out about the information I would press the disk drive button on my xbox and remove Halo 4. I would take the disk over to my window and heave it as far as possible. After heaving the disk out of my window I would go a coat and shoes on. I would walk out into my garage and grab some gasoline. I would walk over to where the disk landed and cover it in gasoline and set it on fire. After it was mostly burned up I would pee on it to put it out. I would walk back to my house and open up my laptop to let everyone on waypoint know what I had just done. I would probably get a runtime error because waypoint never runs correctly at that point I would no longer care to express my opinion and I would probably just falcon punch my laptop shouting “F*** 343!”
Please 343… Don’t make me go through all that trouble and just stick with Halo 2 remakes or all new maps.
