It’s interesting to see that the main menu in Halo 3 looks so much worse when it’s colored.

I wonder if that’s one of the reasons why they used a blue filter

I would guess that they designed the menu with the blue filter in mind and didn’t really take into consideration if the menu happened to look awful in color.
