Well it’s been years since halo 3 has been released and personally it was and still is my favorite halo. I’ve always wondered how did someone figure out how to get this skull. Did someone just randomly jump through the rings and it worked? Is there a hidden message somewhere that says to do that? I really just don’t believe someone jumped through the rings to do it in such a sequence just because… I’ve heard that hackers actually hacked the game to figure this out but I don’t know how true that is… I hope that this is true because that just ruins the enjoyment for everyone and takes the value away from skull hunting.
Just something thats been on my mind randomly and I’m curious to see if anyone knows how it was found. Thanks
Halopedia and halofandom both say that hackers found the script for the skull not long after launch.

This is a shame. Did people have to hack to get the Thunderstorm skull on Halo 5’s Evacuation? That’s another tough one to guess at random.

Really? That stinks! I wish that wasn’t the case. I think bungie would have held that one for a little while…
it is is a shame that people hack the games for this. It ruins the enjoyment for everyone and takes the value away from finding them.
Personally I didn’t like how the skull was hidden to begin with, I much prefer when they are hidden somewhere off the beaten track or in a hard to reach area that encourages the player to explore a little bit.

I agree but I also think that sometimes it’s good to have a bit of a puzzle challenge at the same time finding the skulls on a side path from the main location is also good! I like it when you go of the path and approach some kind of door or trap leading to the treasure, sounds and looks really intreasting but obviously this is Halo ahah but I get what you mean man!
