I see a lot of people saying that Halo 5 should’ve been more like Halo 3. As a long term fan, myself, I can tell you that I HATED Halo 3. The gameplay sucked, the guns were unbalenced compared go other Halos (in all other Halos you could stand a chance against someone with a sniper rifle) and it failed to really capture my attention. I loved CE, 2 and all other Halos, just not 3. Most long term Halo fans don’t, but it’s just that most people started on Halo 3. I prefer even Halo 4 over 3, seriously I don’t like it. And before people say I suck I’m actually pretty good at Halo 3 (probably 7/10) so it’s not that. It just didn’t feel that fun.
Subjective opinion just like saying “Halo 3 had the best multiplayer gameplay” is a subjective opinion.
Honestly, I consider Halo 3 the pinnacle of multiplayer gameplay, but even though I love it I realize that hit registration/blootshots was HUGE issue with multiplayer and made it imperfect. That’s my opinion, but I’m still open to change regardless or what I prefer in MM gameplay.
