I started playing the MasterChief Collection for a while now and I recently went back to Halo 3 online because I gave the Xbox One to a friend to be generous. I was dissapointed to see how no one played social skirmish because everyone seemed to play social slayer. Social Slayer is fun but it just gets boring … I would love to play Assault or CTF or something but I guess I can’t play that anymore . Sad to see how dead Halo 3 is especially knowing how crappy and corny Halo 5 is.

I just played last night and got into a few games and the nostalgia was real! I really want to play old custom games like duck hunting and halo on halo but i lost them when i got a new xbox. Anyone know how to download those game modes?
This saddens me I spent so much time in that game, sucks becauseI can’t find games in MCC so I have no way to play Halo 3 now XD
You can always boot up the 360 and find a match though the population has been slowly fading away.
Sadly it’s dying, although SS you seem to find matches easily.
It’s amazing though how bungie created such an amazing game that people still play online to this day, nearly 10 years after release.
I don’t believe anyone plays the playlists that require DLC. So it’s just Lone Wolves, Ranked Slayer, Social Slayer and Multi Team.

Well sometimes there are people player ranked team slayer and lone wolfves. I miss playing big team slayer
