Halo 4 got boring in a month. Halo 3 still isnt boring to me. I miss the custom games i miss the dbl exp weekends that we would get from bungie.
1-50 gave you something to work for and then when they changed it to where you had exp for each playlist it made you work even more for a general in the playlist.
Zombies was better in H3, Yes we have a flood version now but nothing comes close to how halo 3 had it set up it was more fun in 3 IMO.
The game promoter Team work over solo play which Reach and Halo 4 is lacking, no one cares about working with the teammate they care about not dying and having a good K/d. You should want to win the game not just sit in a corner with camo snipes
1 reason Halo 3 and 2 succeeded where 4 and Reach are failing is the competitiveness of the game people played the game to win they would look at the other team and say we are going to kick their -Yoinks!-. Yes casual gamers played to just played but when h3 was at its prime there would be at least 50k in Team Slayer and at least 10k for the other ranked playlist. Tell me the Competitive community is small your wrong we are a great deal of the Halo players.
Then whatever happened to custom games being played in Halo? People would play custom games to have fun with friends but all people care about is getting exp for a rank that just shows you can play halo 4 all day. Yes you had to play alot in halo 3 to hit 50 but you had to win your games to rank up you couldnt just get 1 kill and go watch tv.
In certain aspects Halo 3 was more fun. I do feel that overally Halo 4 is a better game, but this is a matter of opinion and we’re all entitled to our own.

FYI i liked halo3s campaign considerably… the gameplay was not my favorite but the story behind it was.
in that regard, i dislike halo4s campaign.
other wise, some gameplay aspects are better then it much better then halo 3s. like i liked halo’s maps alot better. But the starting weapons in halo 2 and 3 weren’t always BRs so… yeah im just glad i get to choose what id lke to start with.
To be in honest, in my opinion, they’re both pretty shoddy, but Halo 4 definitely has a slight edge over Halo 3, seeing as Halo 3 was pretty much just Halo 2 but with moar graphics.

H2 beats the crap out of H3.

Leveling is Halo 3 was certainly better than H4 because it existed. I would say maps as a whole were better though I think Haven might be best non remake map since H2. However shot registration in Halo 3 was aweful beyond belief and was worst of the series. Other than that though it was a terrific game.
Halo 2 is far superior to Halo 3.
Halo Wars is superior to Halo 3.
