HALO 3 / INSIDER CRASH ON START UP

I’m a tester for the PC version! My current build is the following.

  • Ryzen 7 3700x - RTX 2060 Super - Vengeance 32 GB Ram @ 3200 mhz - x570 gaming plus mobo-
My drivers are up to current date, nothing unusual on over clocks, everything has enough power, etc etc, I get this following error when trying to launch the game pass the intro loading screen.

LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 200]
Unreal Engine is existing due to D3D device being lost. [Error: 0x887A0007 - ‘RESET’]

This is weird to me because when this happens my dual screens go black, I can hear my fans slow down and then everything goes back to normal.

I have tried to see if my drivers are up to date, check!
repair / file integrity, check!
Reinstall and try again, check!
Restart PC and try again, check!

Running out of options here, anyone else?

I’m not sure how to help your problem here, but I think you’ll find better help in the support section of the forums. Also, reporting your crash Here would help 343i possibly solve the issue.

Other than that, I don’t know what would be wrong, I hope that whatever problem you’re having gets solved though.

Moved to support, though submitting a bug to the Insider support site is probably a good idea
