With Halo 3 backwards compatibility coming up it reminded me of the times back in 2007 before release. Does anyone remember or really miss the hype/marketing campaign behind Halo 3? I know some people probably think it was too much but I was so excited for the game to come out because of all of it (not to mention Halo was already my favorite game). I miss the t-shirts, all the cool commercials on tv, the Game Fuel dear sweet Jesus I loved that drink, and everything else. Everywhere I went I was reminded to be excited because Halo 3 would be out soon and, for me at least, the game lived up to it and I didn’t even have Live in 2007 so that says something to me. Anyway if anyone wants to share about their experience leading up to the game or a launch day story I’d love to hear it.
