The shot registration on halo 3 is worse than ever, and it doesn’t help when teams of 4 are matching singles. I cant tell you how many times Ive put my entire clip into my enemy and my shots wouldn’t register. And whats worse is when people actually think they’re good at the game when you winning a battle because you eat like every shot I put into you doesnt make you good it makes you look pathetic. IDK why but when I got mcc h3 hit reg felt perfect then as update to update was being released I felt like the mcc shot reg for that game just got worse and worse. 343 please if youre having another patch coming out please I hope youve addressed such an issue. This is unbelievable. And whats worse about h3 on mcc is it seems some peoples shots will register better than mine, like how the heck does that work. Dont say connection because ive played plenty of games on p2p and the shot registrations seem the same for everyone else. I cant even play in this playlist because halo 2 never gets picked and when it does the enemy team rage quits because they cant handle h2. Hecks beatdowns in halo 2 really suck but halo 3 on mcc my beatdowns connect worse than that game on the mcc. h3 used to have the best melee system next to reach and in mcc my beatdowns never register. And not to mention the aiming acceleration feels so off since the updates. I was aiming perfectly in mcc h3 before the past couple updates and for some strange reason it feels so weird. I know this isnt hitscan but theres plenty of games that use the projectile based system whose shots register pretty dang good. Example battle field 4. Thats game shot reg is flawless and yet it uses projectile base just like halo 3. So whats the excuse. Im a veteran halo player and know how to lead my shots so before you decide to talk about leading the way shots connect on h3 mcc lets people make the stupidest plays ever. Example on h3 a player can easily push to sword and go straight back to p2 even when being shot by 2 people and live. h2c you do some bs like that youre good as dead. People pick h3 because they suck at h2c and cant stand how fast they die in that game compaed to h3. h3 is LITERALLY the slowest paced halo game next to halo 4 and h2a. Ive never played such a slow paced game. cod halo reach v7,h5,h2c,h1. all are much faster paced(the h5 beta played faster than h3). Just a couple hours ago I played h3 midship in hardcore and threw a grenade and this guy stood on it, like his spartan could sit down like he was laying a freaking egg on this sticky if he wanted to. And yet no damage was dealt to him. Oh I guess you gotta lead your shots when throwing grenades huh lol. Honestly h3 lan and h3 online are completely different from each other that you cant notice a thing that makes them similar. in h2c lan and online(green bar connection) theyre not far apart besides that the shots will register a little bit better than they would online but thats how most games will be like when playing on lan compared to there online counter parts. This seems like a rage post but i can tell you it is not but more of speaking the solid truth. If you act like you haven’t had any sort of similar problems then you’re just lying to yourself because you know for a fact it has happened more than ONCE. We just need a preference system since its not fair to force a player like myself to play halo 3 hardcore when I dont want to. You people complained and moaned about not having a h3 mlg when you didnt even care for us halo 2 players. You only wanted halo 3 simply because thats the game you started on or were the best at. I was better at h3 than I was on h2 but I still like h2c much more. Especially on the mcc. In fact mcc has made me hate halo 3 more than ever. on the 360 it was better more fun and yet mcc has brought nothing but despair and hatred. When I bought mcc on december 1st h3 felt great besides the sound mess up. My shots would register better than they ever did compared to the 360. And now mcc is plagued with this terrible curse of a system and yet you wanted this game simply because its something you could handle. Something that made you believe you were good. On h3 when ever I win a br battle I dont feel like I won that legitly unless of course I got the first 2 or 3 shots. Its so hard to tell whether or not I actually won this fight “fairly”. on h2 I would know If I won my fight and I know more than ever that the battle I had lost was completely fair. I’m asking for halo 3 to be removed from the hardcore playlist or make 2 seperate hardcore playlist so that we true ‘halo fans’ can finally enjoy the game that brought halo to the heavens and would share the memories of thousands of gamers worldwide. If you find it disrespectful that I say only h2c lovers are true halo fans then tuff thats not my fault. H2C started competitive halo(h1 didnt have competitive tournaments from mlg until h2 came out and that was only for a short while) h2c started online multiplayer for shooters and had hours and hours of play time. Its the game that made us love the BR so much. Its the game that made clans in multiplayer a reality. So if you think my comment of whose a true halo fan is disrespectful then by all means accept it as that.

I have NEVER had difficulty landing shots.
I feel like the hit registration in halo 3 (mcc) is inconsistent. For me there are horrible periods, like half of my shots register, and there are good periods (july and august has been a good period) when almost all my shots register. I know what you feel and this is why I almost stopped playing mcc during february to may because this game was so bad and I can’t stand a game that is not consistent, and I know what you mean when you say that you don(t know if you won fairly the fights, I was saying the exact same thing to myself the other day and made me feel bad about this game that I didn’t play it a whole week.
Well, mcc was -Yoinked!- up since the beginning and made me hate 343 even more (even though when they told us about Halo mcc I was about to forgive them about Halo 4, but now I just hate them even more because they made me hate halo, my favourite game of all time!)
And also, when I’m speaking about good and bad periods, it also applies to Halo 2. Right now I just don’t want to play Halo 2 because for me atm this game just doesn’t work.
