In Halo 3 forge mode, if you move your mouse while dropping an object (to revolve around it), the Monitor’s momentum will make it fly away in a straight line from the object you just dropped. It should keep you in place exactly where you drop an object regardless of how fast you’re revolving around your held object. This behavior seems unintended.
Another explanation if the above isn’t very clear:
When you’re holding an object and you move your mouse, the Monitor orbits the object. When you drop an object, the Monitor stops orbiting the object and now moves freely. If you’re moving/orbiting an object (at any speed) and you drop your object while moving/orbiting, your momentum is kept and applied in a straight line away from the object.
