Will we have halo 3 forge maps from our xbox 360 accounts?
No
As unfortunate as it is, no. However, don’t get your hopes down, there still may be something that has yet to be announced! also, you could remake the halo 3 forge maps with the forge engine!
Can we forge on all of the Halo MCC maps or only a select few?
There are so many forge maps from the original halo 3 that I am looking forward to recreating, specifically an infection map on sandbox called lost. I hope there is an option to disable the barriers that were on the map because otherwise it’s going to be a pain covering all of the guardian towers.

Those Towers were so ridiculous man, I still to this day haven’t driven the golden warthog. But that’s beside the point, I don’t think they would allow anyone to disable those towers. That’s the barrier for the map to try to keep people within the bounds of the map. But hopefully with the new forge system it’ll be easier to cover those up. Maybe even taking three people each holding a coliseum wall and moving in formation to protect each other while you cover the towers. Kind of like a spartan phalanx.
Well if we’re not getting our saved games and achievements recovered, I guess forge maps will also have to be redone from scratch, but hey maybe we’ll have new possibilities

I’m pretty sure the Forge in the original Halo 3 is the forge you will expect to find in the Halo 3 section of the MCC. Same goes with Halo 4. The oddball is Halo 2: Anniversary, which will feature an improved Forge system on the 6 remastered maps.
Hope they do because I’m dying to get in the booth I don’t remember If you guys played that game type on rats nest inside a both it was capture the flag, with only one nade on the middle and flags on each side super quick games but it was so much fun. Someone bring the booth back please
