Halo 3 fixed forge physics:

Fixed / phased physics do not work on movable objects in custom games when set in forge mode. Objects such as weapons, fusion coils, any object that moves. It would be great if this bug is fixed.

I’ve only been waiting 13 months. no rush.

tell me how to fix it, or fix it yourself.

This is an issue with Halo 3’s base code. Normal objects, such as fusion coils & crates, are in a constant state of updating to accommodate for player/interaction. Changing this could be harder to fix than you realize.

If you want change, go submit a support ticket.
Not ranting on community forums for 343’s inevitable silence.

Dang man this is really disappointing. Used to be an old school avid halo 3 forge creater and just got back into forge on halo 3 MCC after I learned about the updates to forge. I spent a week working on a map and was so excited about the phased and fixed physics. After spending 20-30 hours making a map I go to test it with several friends in custom games and all the ‘fixed’ objects just explode into a ‘normal’ state immediately breaking everything about the map. It was a survival horror infection map with stuff needing to be in very specific areas. I was heart broken which led me here in my research. So much wasted time… I hope it’s better in halo infinite to be honest :frowning:

That is exactly what happened to me. I have two tickets that have been open since last year, they recently contacted me to ask if it was fixed with the release of the new season. it is not. they simply will not fix it. there is nothing we can do in halo 3 forge that we couldn’t do 10 years ago. Disappointing is a word I’d use if we weren’t already miles past that point.
but hey, at least we have helmets from an arcade game, right?
