With ODST:Flood Firefight added to MCC and being fun and refreshing it still begs the question of if Halo 3 will get a firefight with flood as well, it would be more timeline/lore accurate. It’s also feels necessary to add firefight to Halo 3 and maybe even Halo 4 to not only round everything out but add more content to MCC, don’t get me wrong Halo Infinite should be prioritize for content more than anything but just it feels like this would round out MCC fully especially if there isn’t a firefighter something like that in Halo infinite.

ODST Firefight sort of is Halo 3 Firefight, as ODST itself is more or less just an expansion pack for 3 that grew beyond its initial scope. With that in mind, it would be sweet to have some of the areas from Halo 3’s Campaign (such as Sierra 117’s hydro plant, Crows Nest’s hanger, Tsavo Highways broken path hold out, or The Covenant’s 3rd tower base) sectioned off as new Firefight maps.

The biggest thing is new maps for sure but I’d rather play as my Spartan with all my customization along with more maps/guns and vehicles the an ODDT.

What if 343 just make it where you choose preferred species including spartan, ODST, and elite?

Spartans and elites of energy shields ODSTs don’t, Halo 3 and ODST are in the same engine but are still different games in there own right. The biggest this is I’d rather be my Spartan/Elite in a firefight game mode with the flood.

I have seen a video of someone porting sandtrap over to ODST it would be cool if we can get pathing set up on those levels to get firefight working on them through ODST mod tools maybe in the future 343 can give us our H3 spartan customization in ODST but not sure how many more big updates there will be
Fair point but what if the energy sheikding was danaged like the master cheife in First strik
A difficulty multiplier if you choose ODST over Spartans and Elites. Would love more modes to use my SPI to be honest
I think it would make the most sense just to have a custom game option to choose to play as your Halo 3 character or your ODST character, including their stats like energy shields, huds, Dual Welding, and less grenade carrying capacity.
