Halo: 3 Ending : Mistery Planet

117 is floating in the half of a ship (on bio-sleep), the ship floats straight to a planet. There’s a light, appering on the side of the planet. The planet looks verry futuristic, almost forerunner or alien (Covenant).

Ok first of all (Not to make you sound stupid or anything, just a correction) John is in Cryo Sleep, or Cryogenetic sleep. The planet has been named as The Legendary Planet, by Bungie themselves.

  3. A Forerunner Installation
  4. Sheild World (Last Known location of a Spartan III team named Katana)
  5. A completely new planet that creates an entire new story
  6. A deserted planet where Chief has no hope of return. (Grim, i know, but come on people this is war)
    and 7. (I don’t know why people say this) It is Earth. WTF?

Actually, Team Katana isn’t inside the Shield World. The remains of Blue Team, Dr. Halsey and Tom and Lucy, along with a sort of casket which contain the bodies of Team Katana in a Slipspace envelope. That doesn’t exclude the posibility of it being a Shield World, however, as there existed several.

My best guess is that it is a Forerunner Colony, perhaps their destination for their Great Journey, if it was in fact a physical sense of Journey, as later stories seem to point to, or an ancient Forerunner world. The Forerunner geometry on the surface is pretty obvious.

Team Saber, what’s left of blue team, Halsey, and a Forerunner style cry-napping Team Gladius are in the shield world.

You’re right, I forgot Team Saber, but all of the members of Team Gladius are dead; it’s Team Katana that’s in the slipspace pods, as I said above.

Forerunner or Precursor world (mostly Forferunner)… that is my guess and I think I’m not gonna get disapointed.

Sorry bud, but I gotta make Swiss Cheeze of your suggestions (maybe agree with some of them :slight_smile: )

  1. Doubt it. Surface looks too metallic.
  2. Covenant didn’t have a home world, they had High Charity. The Covenant were spead out on their respective species’ home worlds (Sanghelios, Balaho, etc.)
  3. Possible, but what could it be?
  4. More possible, but there’s dozens of them. Fat chance of it being Onyx.
  5. Highly possible, given that the new enemy for Halo 4 isn’t Covenant or Flood.
  6. If that were it, then they wouldn’t even bother to make Halo 4. They would have just put Chief landing on the planet.
  7. A tantalizing possibility. It would be nice of this was correct (and quite a shock to everybody)
