So @ the end of Halo 3. Guilty “Betrayal” Spark says, “… Inheritor of all they left behind. You ARE Forerunner! But this ring… is mine.” This bugged me for a looooooong time after Halo 4. Then I read the Forerunner saga.
Soooooooooooo is Chief embedded with Bornstellar??? That would be a cool plot cleanup.

you mean the Didact? Because toward the end of H4 MC could hear the Didact’s voice but Cortana couldn’t.
Didn’t know where to. Just assumed H3/mcc

Probably either Universe or General.
Did you really mean Born Stellar? Because he basically became the Didact.

Bornstellar became a close copy & the eventual replacement to the original Didact. He eventually became the Iso-Didact because of the Didact’s atrocities on Installation 07. The original Didact was renamed the Ur-Didact.
Master Chief can’t have the IsoDidact’s imprint. In order to implant a living being with an individual’s consciousness, either the IsoDidact’s body would need to be destroyed so his mind could be implanted as a geas or the IsoDidact would have to personally perform a mutation on John, which isn’t possible considering he’s been gone from the galaxy for 100,000 years.
