so i have been annoyed with backwards compatible version of h3 none of the dlc works and dlc has been reinstalled multiple times to no avail and its also on 2 storage devices and still doesn’t do anything, so does anyone know how to fix this
I was in the same boat for awhile. I would have it installed and it would randomly tell me I didn’t have the maps to play in certain playlists and when I went to forge to see if I had all the maps it was only showing the original release maps. One day the problem just went away on it’s own it was weird. It might not help but you can try holding your power button 10 seconds straight and give it that reboot sometimes that helps.

I don’t think so. The ODST multiplayer disk has been my “go to” for Halo 3 multiplayer for as long as I can remember now. Can I ask why you’d prefer to download the maps?

because i don’t want to switch discs to play campaign call me lazy but i just find it to be an inconvenience

LOL! At least you’re honest
I had this type of issue occur on Halo 4 sometimes, and logging out of my Xbox LIVE account and logging back in while in Halo 4 fixed the trick in that title. The next time any of you have this glitch occur in a Halo title, try this to see if this works.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding OP, so apologies for useless tips in advance. Try putting everything on one storage device. You might have noticed that the map packs are all of similar size and are not that large. I’m not completely certain on how backwards compatibility works for those map packs specifically, but I think it might help to have everything on one storage device.
