As of the new update, I simply can’t get halo 3 custom games to load. I can select the map and game type, as well as press start a match but as soon as the loading screen shows up nothing happens, I’ve tried 4 different maps and 3 different game types as well as rebooting the xbox, but no matter what I do I just get the map loading screen with no progress ever being made. I even let it sit 30 minutes once to make sure it wasn’t just really slow. The xbox does not freeze, the maps simply fail to load at all. Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 4 all appear to be working perfectly for custom games.
Totally unplug the Xbox, or power cycle it
I’m experiencing the exact same problem. ever since the january patch, i haven’t been able to get a custom game loaded and neither can my friends who have also hosted and tried….why is it we buy something and we can’t use it…even if were getting a free month of xbox live whats the point. so we can go play call of duty??
