One of the big aspects of Halo 3’s story was the Cortana/Gravemind moments. You all know these moments, Cortana and the Gravemind contact Master Chief telepathically. People have wondered how this was done, and at such great distances across the galaxy. In Halo: Evolutions - Human Weakness, it’s revealed that the Gravemind hacked Cortana’s systems, and was able to send Chief messages appearing as Cortana. Frank O’Connor revealed back in 2011 in the Halo A to Z that the Gravemind is telepathic. I wonder, could it be that this telepathy is a type of neural physics? Neural physics is a type of Precursor science incomprehensible to lesser minds.
One would assume. Perhaps its related to the fact that the Graveminds doesn’t die with its body, and is just temporarily turned off until his next body is created. His mind exists outside of matter.
I once thought the Gravemind’s true “soul” exists within the Domain, but the whole Abaddon thing debunked that.
