Halo 3 Celebration challenge not unlocking

Hi,

Myself and a friend have met the requirements 4 times now to get the Threes Company halo 3 celebration challenge complete on Halo: MCC and it hasn’t unlocked, we are both playing on XBOX ONE X.

We have tried the following steps.

  1. Reboot game
  2. Switch hosts
  3. Hard reset of console
  4. Fresh install of game
  5. Tried on Normal, Heroic & Legendary difficulty

None of these have worked so far, and we are getting closer to the end of the period for the challenge to be completed, at which point who knows if the reward will ever be available again. Any help is appreciated.

UPDATE: 343 released a fix on July 29th that has fixed this issue, my friend and I have received the rewards for completing this challenge.
