DOES anyone besides me REALLY missed the halo 3 carbine and agrees the neddle rifle is not viable replacement for the carbine???

YES I agree, the Carbine was a great weapon in Halo 2-3: one of my favorite precision weapons. That and an updated Beam Rifle/Forerunner sniper rifle oooooooooh @___@
Well, the Needle Rifle is basically an overpowered Carbine. The only time I really used a Carbine is when I couldn’t find a BR.

Honestly I enjoyed the NR much more then the Carbine. I never used the Carbine, but whenever I spotted a NR I would go after it.
Frankie did say that was his favorite weapon. I wouldn’t be surprised it if made it into H4.

Nope, it wasn’t, I personally thought it worked well with all the other weapons in the game.
Although, I personally don’t care which makes an appearance. I do tend to lean towards the Carbine however because of the NR’s supercombine property.
The Halo 2 Carbine is better.

I agree completely. The Carbine was my favorite gun in Halo 2 and 3. I miss it so much. Same with the Beam Rifle.

If elites are in Halo4, the Carbine needs to be the rifle Sanghelios.
Personally I don’t see a real difference besides that the needle rifle can make enemies explode.
there is the carbine shoots as fast ac u can pull the trigger and can also zoom in more it is the only gun thru the entire halo series that is a true semi-auto gun and i liked it alot and it was the only gun that u can beat a br with (within the same range) the needle rifle yes u can make people explode and its kinda fun to use but it has a terrible rate of fire and its zoom is the crappiest thing ever but i would enjoy an improved version of it

Carbine = non OP, ZB, beautiful.
NR = OP, bloom, kinda beautiful.

Yes, I want to see the Carbine return, awesome weapon, arguably the best weapon in Halo 3. Better than the NR, although the NR isn’t bad.

The carbine has a set rate of fire. I’m pretty sure it and the needle rifle are 2X zoom as well (correct me if I am wrong). I do agree with you that it is a much better weapon, though.
