Halo 3 campaign=Best

I have waited through time, and rock, and metal (lol), i have played halo ce, loved the ef out of it, i played halo 2, and still loved the ef out of it. Then comes the glorious halo 3, did you guys know that when i first had xbox, i had no live, so i thought halo 3 was just campaign. I have played the halo 3 campaign about…18 times over and over, in a monthly period, i never, ever got bored of it. Then came live, yada yada multiplayer, i started playing with friends, i helped out all of my friends on my list in the campaign becuase i knew so much. I played through the campaign with friends online about…only 13 times. I still remember the open missions, and the very colorfullm, and bright feel of the game. Me and my friends always had “misadventures”) history.

So for people that say halo ce was great, yes it was, but i played that over and over about 14 times over my lifetime to now.

P.S the one reason i didnt play halo ce much was becuase when i first saw the flood, i ran and jumped to my console and turned it off. I never touched my xbox for the whole month (lol).

I’ve played Halo CE hundreds of times, probably beaten it solo 25-50 times on legendary alone. It is my favorite of the Halo campaigns, and my favorite game of all time. However, Halo 3 is definitely second out of the 5 Bungie Halo games. Main reason H3 loses points is the BR, shorter levels, and the last two missions. Cortana level is my least favorite maybe in the entire series (I’m also someone that likes The Library) and I felt the last mission should have been longer. They could have had a lot more level before you get to the pyramid, let you explore some remade rooms from halo 1.

I think CE was better because it wasn’t as linear, and had a moodier feel. Giant tank battles are great, but I like it better when I can explore a little and confront the enemy in my own way. Remember the “Silent Cartographer” level? You could drive around the entire Island and approach it however you wanted. I like stuff like that a lot more than just following one path.

This is the main reason I loved CE so much. Any Halo campaign is just so interesting to explore. You don’t get that kind of depth with many other games, they just stick to progressing the story instead of stimulating your mind.

LOL, that’s great. I wasn’t really intimidated by the Flood the first time I saw them. :stuck_out_tongue:

I almost crapped my pants the first time i saw the Video Link of Jenkins encounter with the Flood in Halo CE! I loved the Silent cartographer for the same reasons and I loved the feeling of that hot pelican drop onto the battlefield! I used to hate playing the library but i really like it now playing it on Halo:CEA. Halo 1 was just pure epic all the way through. But Fricking Two Betrayals is way to effing long/hard legendary solo. lol . I Thoroughly Enjoyed the Hell out of H3 Campaing, it was also amazing, but i cant say it beat the Shock-&-Awe Factor that Halo:CE had… IMO of course.

In all H1 and H3 both were epic campaings, alot of ppl like to argue that H2 was the best campaign… i dont buy that even for a minute but some ppl really think so.

I’m playing halo 2 nowi really like halo 2 campaign but I think halo 3 campaign wins for me.

Halo C.E. had the best campaign, hands down! That’s not to say that Halo 3 didn’t have some pretty epic levels… it totally did. Sierra 117 was great, loved Tsavo Highway and The Storm… also The Ark and The Covenant. Those levels were pretty reminiscent to Halo C.E. in some areas.

The original Halo just felt right though, in terms of gameplay. It wasn’t even the level design, (which has been great throughout the series) but more about how the gunplay and action felt, and that’s why I can’t quite get over the first Halo, lol.

I really hope Halo 4 brings back the feeling and intensity of C.E.

Halo 3’s campaign is definitely my favorite campaign of all time. Sure the levels were small (with the exception of The Ark and The Covenant) but it was still awesome, epic, and fun to play. I love the multiplayer too, but it’s really the campaign that makes Halo 3 my favorite game of all time.

I’m a pretty new Halo fan but from all the games I’ve played Halo 3 is definitely my favourite, not just campaign but the multiplayer was really fun too.
I played through the whole series but 3 was the one I was excited for the most
