Finally! I am going to play that all the way till halo 6 comes out! Enough of suffering from halo 5 futuristic gameplay and mcc failure! Lets go boi!
It definitely does feel like they are trying to make up for MCC’s problems by scooting it under the rug and allowing you to play the BC versions of the original releases. I’m okay with this though, I loved hopping between the Multiplayer of 3, Reach and 4. Variety is nice, and having access to them outside of MCC is great.
I hope the Mythic disc. that came from ODST is also BC since it was the only way I played the DLC maps 
All the DLC will be free so it doesn’t matter which disc you use. Although I prefer the mythic menu better because of the darker theme.

Yeah they actually achieved a “Mythic” feeling with the menu, and It has some details, like in the Spartan Customization the background resemble a similar looking apperance to a part of High Ground.

And, on top of that, maybe now when I play the BTB playlist in MCC, I can actually play some CE or Halo 2 and not 10 straight matches of Avalanche & Last Resort.

That’s true, hopefully the individual games let people focus in on what multiplayer experiences they want.
Halo 3 is revived, yes along with CEA, H4 and ODST, but non-BC games like H2 and CE will now die, and H2A has no chance now.

Likely it’s gonna be September, the tenth anniversary of Halo 3 happens in that month.

They’re great maps. But there are over 100 others in the game. And when you play the same 2 ad nauseam while the rest go to waste, it’s a bit of a shame.

I think since the MCC is the only place you can play Halo 2 and CE (well, there are others, but the only straight forward legitimate way of doing so) there will be people playing. And if anything, getting all the “Halo 3 is my childhood” people out of there will allow us to play CE & Halo 2 more often than before anyway. I think it may help the game out. CE, H2, & H2A may actually get voted on and win a majority of the time since if people want to play H3 & H4, they shouldn’t be in the MCC, so why vote for it? Launch the BC version if that’s what you want to play.
This also goes to show how unimportant 1080p 60fps is. Remember how big of a deal that was to be playing Halo 3 @ 60fps? Now everyone is excited about going back to the 30fps version. lol

I think I gonna get some MCC training because I lost my skill with H5 and H4, the only thing I kept is the button layout, Thanks for answering btw!.

I am so happy that Halo 3 is finally coming to XBox One, but what will happen to MCC?
Edit: I guess MCC will still be useful for Halo 2/Halo 2 Anniversary, but it still seems…useless now.
I wonder if there will be a site that will be able to track its stats and games etc…
