Halo 3 Banned - Need a moderator

Hello all, my 6 year old son woke me up two days ago informing me that he can not play Halo 3 anymore. I took a look and saw a message informing us that his xbox console and account has been banned. I immediately went to the Xbox live support forums and chatted with a representative and was informed that they have no account of him being account or console banned. The rep then led me to this site and informed me to ask the “Halo 3 forum moderators” if they can take a look into what happened to my son’s console and account. Any information is greatly appreciated! thanks

Huh. They should have been able to tell you what went wrong. I don’t know too much about bans, but I do know that this might help. Sorry about your ban. Your son may deserve it, but it could also be an accident. Hopefully you find out.

Sadly the team over at Xbox were wrong to point you in this direction. There is no team that looks into bans for Halo 3, it is all an automated process.

Without sounding rude, it is possible your son may have been flagged for AFKing due to lack of kills in his games (considering he is only 6 year old).

Bans are not appealable either.

Can’t believe 6 year old children get banned rather than people STILL deranking.

Rank doesn’t matter… the ban system is pretty sound to be automated.
I think it’s more a hacker attack.
