I loved the H2A and Halo Wars 2 CGI cut scenes and think Halo 3 CGI cut scenes would be AMAZING.

I think they’ve stated multiple times that a H3A is not in the works. Maybe in the future, but maybe in the future I’ll have a lightsaber too.

No one is believing for a second that you will buy 1 million copies, unless you happen to be a billionaire. I know that was sarcasm, but come on. No one at 343i is going to believe that or be swayed by it.

This is about the 15th time this subject has been brought up, and I’m wondering if we can set a temporary rule that Halo 3A cannot be talked about on this site unless someone at 343i talks about it in the future.
Sorry if I sound like an -Yoink-, as I’m not usually one, but people don’t seem to understand that it isn’t happening, and the devs, mods, and literally everyone else has said so until they are blue in the face and we don’t need multiple threads taking up the forums on this site.
I don’t want to be a downer either, but they’re working on Halo 6 not H3A. I would enjoy a H3A, but i want a good Halo 6 first. A lot of people love 5 multiplayer but my personal opinion is that it was too competitive based so I’m hoping Halo 6 fixes that. Plus they need to come up with a decent ending to the sub par story from 5(Honestly I enjoyed it but again, a lot of people didn’t like it either). And they didn’t show any H3A at E3 or Halo 6, which Halo 6 isn’t at a presentable stage in it’s development cycle yet. We just need to give H3A some time and hope that they actually do something special in Halo Wars 2 or Halo 5 instead of saying happy 10 year Halo 3 anniversary in the community update. We just gotta give it time and it will may or may not happen.
I have a feeling they will eventually make a remastered version, but as for a 10th anniversary one, they aren’t. they have already said it too many times for it to just “try and be a surprise to the fans”.
People, please stop asking for H3A. There no way that 343 will ever release such a game!
-First, Halo 3’s graphics still hold up to this day, heck, they are even better tan some 2017 games.
-Second, if 343 were to release it H3A this year (which is the only acceptable time to release such a game), it would have been in E3 to build up hype for it.
The only thing close to H3A is a potential backwards compatible Halo 3, not a remaster of the game.

Addressing a ban on H3A, where no one can bring it up or create a topic of the subject, is a direct violation of the fans’ 1st Amendment rights and can’t be enforced just because “they won’t make the game anytime soon, so stop talking about it.” Sorry to politicize the matter, but you’d rather have someone say it nicely than to have someone be an absolute jerk later on.
I once swore I’d never chip in any more thoughts on a H3A, but this thread will be the final time I say anything of the like pertaining to a future H3A:
They will make it one day, whether it be 343i or another outsourced developer liker Certain Affinity. It’s not a matter of why, but when. The why no longer matters because of the belief of “the graphics still hold up to this day.” Anyone who uses that argument doesn’t take 3840x2160 resolution into mind. It’s the when that really matters. It doesn’t have to be this September, as it should be. An anniversary of Halo 3 will happen when the time is right. 4K isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and we’re bound to see improvements in both gaming engines and the power of GPUs in the near future that would surely benefit a H3A.
I know I’ve preached that a H3A would come out later this year, but I’m glad I was wrong and rightfully so. The market is currently being flooded with old remasters and next-gen rebuilds like Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy VII. Adding Halo 3 to that pile would surely be too much, and would stiffen the competition even if it sold outrageously and brought in a pretty profit. Us fans will get a H3A when it’s needed, and the time is not now. But, for now, it’s right for the fans to preach their concerns and theories as long as it fits the guidelines. I’m aware that it’s becoming a touchy subject as of late, and it’ll only grow worse the closer we get to September.
All I say to everyone else who agrees that we don’t need a H3A is that they let the fans express their concerns. You can’t quell a wildfire with a few buckets of water, you have to let it burn out until there’s nothing left to burn.

I’m sorry, but the only reason people want this game remastered is because they obsess over visuals.
There’s literally nothing to add/improve upon other than Forge.

They probably are listening and that’s why they aren’t making it. As you can see from this very post, only half of us want it and the other half don’t. They aren’t going to risk losing money on a game that has already been released just so they can update visuals.
And oh dear sweet heavens, I cannot believe I’m defending 343i.
