Halo 3: Anniversary?

I want Halo 3 Anniversary.

this should happen halo 3 was my first halo game

Not really like the graphics in Halo 3 even compared with the graphics in Halo CE remastered, but don’t know why.

Halo 3 anniversary would in my humble opinion be a waste of resources, Halo 3 is still a fantastic game and looks amazing, Halo 4 and 5 may have prettier graphics but the textures in those games aren’t as polished as Halo 3’s was. Seriously, go back and play Sierra 117 and just look at the realistic lighting effects and the damn textures, it still looks phenomenal. So… No, Halo 3 does not need a remaster, no halo has “needed” a remaster. Halo CE and 2 were just updated graphically and got a remixed soundtrack, and this because of the outdated graphics of really beloved games. Halo 3 however is not outdated, it looks so much better then alot of other games coming out today, in 2015!
It doesn’t NEED that because that game looks -Yoinking!- amazing.

Added note:
I would also like to point out that I really want the concept of remasters and remakes to die and die quickly. The industry is overflowing with them, even with games that aren’t that old, and it’s just so annoying when the studios aren’t spending the money on other new projects

I think they should remaster Halo 3 just so the entire original trilogy has been remastered (I just like things to be done in their entirety rofl) but after that I think they should stop. As the guy above said, this remake stuff is getting out of control.

I think they should just update the human graphics. Other than that, Halo 3 looks a lot better than any of the new ones. Seriously. Lol

-Update human graphics (Including Cortana)
-Touch up any flat or dull textures, but keep the original design
-1080p 60 fps (Obviously)
-Dedicated multiplayer servers
-SMOOTH AND WORKING LAUNCH

That’s all it needs. Lol Halo 3 was the one of the best looking games of its time, and it still holds up really well.

It really wouldn’t be a “waste of resources”, as id imagine Sabre Interactive would do a lot of the work, just like they did with Halo CE and Halo 2 anniversary.
The visual of Halo 3 do look quite dated compared to other Halo games in the Halo MMC, I don’t have a problem with a Halo 3 anniversary as it nice way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the game. Also you have to give Microsoft some credit there is a lot more work put in the anniversary edition of Halo, compared to the “Definitive Editions” of other AAA games.

You see the problem is that even though you don’t like remasters, there is a huge percentage of people that upgraded from last gen and stole their previous console and their favorite games. Some Publisher see this and gets a different Dev Studio to port the games to the current gen. The games industry is a business its safer to re-release something, that spend the money trying to come up with a new idea.

If all the Halo games get remasters except my all time favorite i would definitely feel disappointed. Just add it to the MCC Please

I know how the industry works, and yes alot of people who upgraded sold their previous consoles(foolish but true none the less). Another thing I would like to add to this conversation is backwards capability. Halo 3 still looks, fares and plays great and I would not be surprised if it were to be one of the many games that will be playable on it’s own by the end of this year. You’re right about Saber and Microsoft putting alot of money and care into their exclusives(MCC… sorta) but even though this is true I would like too see more new IP’s and other ideas have the chance to see the light of day. The concept of remasters and remakes has consumed the industry, and it’s not true that mankind has run out of ideas, they come up all the time.

I see your points and I agree with most of it, but not all of it. But that’s me I guess

yes

that would be awesome if it came out

I wouldn’t mind a Halo 3: Anniversary as an add-on to the MCC in 2017.

Please Guys… Directors Cut!! That extra content is needed!!!

Make H3!!!

they did, released in 2007. Keep up man xD

Halo 3 Anniversary is coming… It’s going to be Green and very, very mean! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

2017 just watch

I think Halo 3 Anniversary NEEDS to happen! The point of remastering is to bring it to the platform to see how much they improved.

I would expect them to make it in 2017 with super amazing graphics

How or why would either of you say this? An anniversary remake is a good thing in general. Literally there’s nothing wrong with it.

If it’s the graphics you don’t like, then switch back to the original or just play the actual game. If it’s the multiplayer gameplay (such as H2A on MCC), then just simply don’t play it.
