I mean it was a HUGE fan favourite and I think it would seem silly to remaster only two of the original three. It might seem like a wasted effort though, because Halo 3’s graphics are still pretty decent even to today’s standards. What do you think?
The thing no one understands about a Halo Anniversary game is that every game will change in 10 years. You know why? The point of the remastering is to see what the game would look like 10 years later. That includes Halo 3. Halo 3 will change in 10 years, and 343i should show how in Halo 3: Anniversary. I think all the Halo games should have a remastering.

I agree and the point of remastering is to find out how much better improvements in a game ten years past release can get.
Oh they’re gonna just so they get people to pay another 40 dollars.
If they do, it won’t be released until 2017.
I don’t think they should do that, yet remaking some of the classic maps in Halo 3, and remaking the Hayabusa armour and ect, it just might ruin it. 343i did a good job in Halo 2 Anniversary but there was some flaws. Like in Halo 2, the shield bar was just above the radar but in the Anniversary the shield bar was at the top of the screen, yikes…And Anniversary brought some Halo 4 into it which I didn’t really like. I would have to disagree and mostly agree with OP

I’m replaying H3 at the moment. Damn there are some fun sections in that game.
Tsavo Highway is Halo perfection IMO. Vehicles, varied enemies, tight spaces vs open spaces. Fun.
i guess they will do a halo 3 anniversary but only when it makes 10 years
and i think they have made some correction in the halo 3 of the master chief collection but i dont think it works that way

I think they will only remaster the original trilogy and possibly ODST and Reach. I kind of doubt they’ll remaster 4 and 5.
I don’t think anyone has stopped to think what Halo 3:Anniversary would be like. Would it ruin the classic and familiar feeling we had toward the Halo: CE, 2, and 3 franchise? I’m not sure. I guess in Halo 2: Anniversary the graphics were amazing but they changed the look of the Sangheili and made it look a bit more creepier. I am still debating whether or not the Halo 3: A would bring back that feeling that we all felt when playing Bungie’s Halo franchise. That feeling has certainly changed when 343i introduced Halo 4 and the remastered.

Dude Halo 3 Ann. needs to happen! By far one of the best Halo games and as you said a fan favorite so I would expect it. HALO 3 HYPE!
