Halo 3 Anniversary

Yes, another thread regarding h3a.

It’s obvious that Halo 3 is regarded as the best in the halo series. Why would Microsoft skip on the chance of remastering the game that made their 360 to sky-rocket in sales? With project scorpio reportedly coming at the end of 2017 they need a game to showcase it and Halo 3 would be the perfect game. I’m not saying make Halo 3 Anniversary a scorpio exclusive (god please that would piss alot of people including me) honestly leave that to the Xbox division to say how to make work properly to not make people miss out on the better looking anniversary. 343i don’t have to make it, leave that to Certain Affinity so that 343i focus on making Halo 6.

But why should there be an anniversary version of halo 3? It looks good enough. Yes it does, it looks amazing on xbox one, but it’s stuck behind the MCC. Releasing a separate anniversary version is a good idea so that people can play without waiting forever to find a match. It’s also a good idea because now, all Xbox games will also be available on windows 10. You know what that means? PC gamers can finally finish the fight after a decade of waiting. Another reason to make an anniversary version is because of one reason, sound design. In my opinion the sound design in Halo 3 has not aged well, especially the BR, AR, and SMG. So and updated sound design like h2a will be amazing.

All of this is obviously just my opinion, and who cares for my opinion? So I want to hear your opinion about this topic and if you agree, then good, but if you don’t, try not to be a -Yoink-.

Thank you and happy gaming!

That’s a lot of good points that I never really thought about. Using H3A to show off what the Scorpio could do definitely seems like a possibility (though it wouldn’t be exclusive, no game is exclusive to Scorpio).

And given how it seems like every exclusive is part of the play anywhere program, that likely extends to Halo which would allow PC to play it as well.

The biggest reason H3A is even likely is simply because there’s money to be made there. Include the MP experience, even with a H2A style counterpart and it is something people will buy, especially on PC.
