Yeah so 2017 is beginning to show its face (I think), and with there being Halo CE and Halo 2 Anniversary do you think 343i’s gonna keep the tradition going with Halo 3? Honestly, if 343 goes in and redoes the graphics for the game (like what they did with H2A’s cutscenes :D) it would look soooo good. Plus, a graphics update to a fantastic campaign would get me hyped. What do you think? I know I’m ready for a little deja vu…
I think its a possibility, just let someone else be in charge of development instead of 343i, maybe Saber interactive since they developed CEA and Halo Online
I don’t care who remasters it, I just want it.
I would prefer H3 not to be remastered because it’s still a pretty decent looking game and is currently playable online. Can’t say the same for CE and 2.
I would play endless multiplayer matchmaking if they gave halo 3 the revamp like they did for halo 2. never really cared about the halo campaigns after the first one. i think it would bring back a lot of the community we lost as well

I think all attention now will be on Halo Wars 2 and of course Halo 6.

Up until they were announced 343 denied making both CEA and H2A Up until their respective announcements at E3.

Yes I hope halo 6 is going to be even greater because I love Halo 5

This. I loved the H2A remake. It was amazing graphics-wise. Don’t hate me for this, but CEA was nowhere near as beautiful as H2A came out. The graphics, the cutscenes, all of it was beautiful. If Halo 3 got that same treatment? (Possibly with even better graphics than Halo 2A?!) I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

I have conflicting viewpoints on this.
The cynical part of me really wants it, because it’s something that 343 might not be able to screw up. Plus, it’s Halo 3.
The other part of me hopes they focus on upcoming projects and allocate all resources to those - to avoid missing things like split-screen, cut content, and last minute story-rewrites.

I second this. No more remasters or remakes, expand the lore.
Halo 3 was decent, graphically, and wouldn’t look that much different with a remaster.
Rather 343 have all hands on Halo6. We don’t need H3A it’s pointless. HALO 3 already looks good and is still an HD game…
