Is it coming? or do you think they will just throw halo 3 maps in Halo 5?
I think there won’t be an H3A. In my opinion, MS will make H3 a free game download provided for XBL Gold members and upgrade the servers to handle the games. But I don’t expect much from MS or 343i considering that the H6 development cycle is underway and 343i is busy catching up on Halo 5. They don’t have the resources or time to go for a H3A effort, in my opinion.

I know, thus I hope we don’t get a H3A. 343 will literally butcher the game.

if original Halo 3 came to Xbox One, MCC and Halo 5 will have a huge population drop.
I don’t want to see a H3A until they can really step up the graphics. I mean H2A cut scenes level for gameplay. Then do a H3A.
I really want a Halo 3 A. I love halo 3 and it’d give the side of the community that don’t like halo 5 something to do. Will it happen? Probably not, especially after the MCC controversy. If it does get announced i’ll shave my cat.

They’ve done it for every game 10 years after launch, Halo 3 was a huge game in the gaming world. It’d be a disgrace of they didn’t do it.

Bungie isn’t the same company that gave us halo 1-3. Have you seen what they did to Destiny? Buy a bunch of DLC or you can’t play multiplayer.

After Halo CEA came out people wanted H2 remaster because at that time, H2 was the only Halo game not on the xbox360. And yes it was a huge game but so was Reach. And everyone will want that next!
I think they will make it, just to round off remastering the original trilogy for older fans, but then they’ll bury the anniversary concept (even though I wish we got a Reach anniversary because every time I play that game the mix of FXAA, motion blur and poor fps makes my eyes bleed).
Its not going to happen just forget it and move on.
If they wanted to do a remake of H3 they would have did it for the MCC. H3 looks great the way it is. If 343 did anything they should add Reach to the MCC running at 60fps.

You want those cutscenes? You are going to have drop a couple grand on a beastly PC. The peasant box can’t just cannot run that level of graphical and texture fidelity.
Plus, I honestly don’t think we will ever get those kinds of graphics. I mean, those cutscenes were pre-rendered to look as good as they do; having a graphics card render frames like the H2A cutscenes but all of the damn time would probably melt the card. Just say’in.
