I like the idea but couldn’t this be done using the Custom Games Browser?

Halo 3 Anniversary has been confirmed to not be happening. It isn’t a good bet that it’s not happening, it’s done and dusted. A throwback playlist for that and Halo 2 similar to the one for CE would be nice though. It would be nice to play with modern mechanics on classic maps.

Especially since Halo 3 was such a huge game, I can’t believe Microsoft would throw away the idea of making a anniversary version because all the money they’d get from it.

I think you’re overestimating the returns from remasters, particularly when Halo 3 is still playable on the 360 and has already been cleaned up as part of the MCC. Either way let’s keep on topic please.
I’m half glad we probably won’t get a Halo 3 remaster. It gives 343i more time to work on a new halo (halo 6) rather than focus partly on halo 3 and halo 6 at the same time.

What money? They just rereleased it in mcc. If anything they will lose money making a game everyone already has. You think shiny graphics will make people play again? I realize exactly how big it WAS (as in isnt anymore). We have gotten this game 3 times now, bought when it released, gave away for free with gwg and mcc. And guess what? It still has a miniscule population. Its over man. It was a good game. Now its time is over and time to look to halo 6 not back 10 years to halo 3, a game everyone already owns many times over.

Halo wars 2 is being done by creative assembly just fyi.

I keep hearing the term MCC what is that and I don’t have Halo 5 but don’t like it anyway. I can still hope…also where are your sources? You can’t just say that and only have yourself to credit or one source to credit. You will have some trouble in getting people to believe you…

I still enjoy it too, but the buggy mess of it can make you want to pull out your hair. Especially the H2 campaign
