Good evening Spartans, Sangheili, Prometheans, and other awesome factions! So I recently came upon some videos about the NYTF(New York Toy Fair) and in some of these videos, specifically the Halo Mega Bloks portion you can see the Halo Heroes series 5, which is including figures from Halo 3. It doesn’t say anything about Halo 3 Anniversary, however you can see a little sign near the figures that shows a price for ODST drop & deploy assortment and says fall 2017. If I’m not mistaken Halo 2 had some Halo Mega Bloks when Halo MCC released. Also the figures are a Brute Captain, Cortana, 343 Guilty Spark, Sgt. Johnson, Arbiter, Master Chief with an awesome flamethrower, and Prophet of Truth. Now just keep in mind I’m aware of Halo 3 Anniversary supposedly not being worked on and I think Phil Spencer saying there isn’t going to be a Halo FPS this year, however what do you guys think?
Interesting point, but keep in mind that just because they’re making Halo 3 characters, doesn’t mean that it confirms or even means an Anniversary game. Why might you ask? It’s Halo 3’s anniversary, so yes, Halo products might come out with some remembrance items to celebrate the 10 years. Does that mean that a game is being in the works? Not necessarily. Does it mean that it’s not impossible for a game to be being worked on? Of course not. We will have to wait and see!
I think H3 Anniversary would be a waste of resources in a market over-saturated with Anniversary/Definitive/Remastered Editions.
H3 isn’t so dated that it needs a remake.

I know it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s confirmed, it’s just speculation. Also thank you for not being negative!
Phil Spencer (aka head of Xbox) has confirmed that there’s no FPS Halo title out this year so don’t hold your breath.

I love Halo 3 but I do have to agree with this.
Where did Phil Spencer say that? I know he said that Halo and Gears will not be the focus of 2017, but I don’t recall him saying that there will be no halo titles.

he said it during the Halo Wars 2 live stream. I had assumed when he said “FPS” that he meant “Fancy Pants Sangheili”, which doesn’t rule out Halo 3 but that stand alone Halo 5 spin-off title where you play as SOS Elites fighting Jul’s Covenant on Sangheilios some of us have been hoping for.
… that was supposed to be a joke, but it was admittedly pretty bad and now I want that Sangheili game.
Spartans never die, they’re just remastered in action. I would like a Halo 3 remaster. Did it in 2011, then again in 2014, seems fair to do 2017 also.
Halo 3 doesn’t need a remaster. If anything, they’ll just do something like what they did with Halo Wars Definitive Edition.
