A new video was just released about H3A. Halo 3 Anniversary is CONFIRMED? All signs point to yes at the moment
343 explicitly stated that H3A is a no-go. It’s simply not an option in the slightest.
343 like to surprise this community, they said H2A wasn’t happening, yet we got it. What I predict is that Halo3A will be released the same time as the project scorpio. Selling bundles of H3A with the console would boost the selling rates for the console and restore faith in people’s desires for the anniversary. The game won’t be exclusive to just the scorpio, but to all xbones. I think an anniversary would be very profitable.
Until such time as 343 actually announces that Halo Anniversary is a product they are going to ship, it hasn’t been confirmed. As it stands they have said it is not happening, and with Halo Wars 2 / Halo Wars DE shipping next month and Halo 5 updates still in play I am inclined to believe that to be true. Personally, I would rather they didn’t ship H3A and focused attention on unexplored areas of the Halo Universe.
As an alternative to a H3A, I’d be happy if they would just finish patching the remaining glitches in MCC and re-release it in Games With Gold to drive up the population, that way anyone who wants to play H3 to their hearts’ content to celebrate its anniversary next year, can do so. I think that’s a fair compromise considering it already looks pretty damn good in MCC running in 1080p and 60fps.

Exactly. Bundle H3A with the Scorpio, and release it for Windows 10 along with Halo 1 and 2 anniversary. Halo 6 is coming to PC, no reason not to port over all the anniversary editions in 1 bundle on their Windows store.
The video didn’t really do much but summarize the already debunked speculation. The concept art was made specifically for one of the Halo books (Mythos I think) explaining the events of late Halo 3. And the music at the beginning was just part of the Halo 15th anniversary livestream which had no major announcements in it.
The convincing menu screen at the end doesn’t look official, no where on it do I see anything showing what version of the game it’s running (Alpha, Beta, 1.3, etc). There used to be a YouTuber who made really professional looking fan made menu screens on speculated or unreleased games, forgot their name but the were really good.

The music at the end of the livestream video is the exact music used in the Halo 3 trailer from back in the day, also that video is unlisted, so it’s probably a hint at big fans that even though we can’t say anything just yet, it’s coming.
I hope it comes to the Xbox, this and reach anniversary. These where my two favorite in the series
