Was it one of those really bad asset flip trailers?
not bad but i think the original trailer was more epic. too much was changed, it lost the magic along the way. depth of field is ugly.

Dunno why you would ask if your just gonna get salty when people share opinions that arwnt 1:1 with your own.
Actually seems to be your modus operandi thread to thread.
But ya, the depth of field isnt to my taste.
Theres some pretty blurry image quality. Just a relatively uneven presentation in texture quality.
Not a fan of how the lighting was altered.
The subtle brilliance of the originals layered textures and baked on model lighting seems lost in this rework to me.
The wind is blowning in the wrong direction.
Generally dislike the effects used for the cortana visual additionally just nostalgia makes the face look jarring to me.
The art direction for the ark portal.
The cloud particle effect and low light all take away from the gradure of the seen for me.
As does the flare.
Its a different tone I guess.
Colour palette isnt as vibrant as id like personally.
The contrast of under suit and plating doesnt have that definition that made og pop and the lighting creates a sense of space on the layers that make thenplating look thinner more fragile in areas.
So ya solid effort.
Work put into it for sure.
But not “in love” with it.
Just doesnt replicate the grandeur or scale for me.
Well put it this way then if 343 ever does a Halo 3 Anniversary this video would show them what not to do
Its got the bizarre animation choices of CE Anniversary nailed.

Halo 3 is a visual masterpiece; any rendition would be blasphemy. MCC originally soiled it in 2014
