So TL;DR is I got my 360 back from a family member after years with my copy of Halo 3 and Reach and I wanted to know if 3 or Reach still has a decent player count online. Don’t wanna waste money on Live if nobody is playing.
Being more specific I mean 3 and Reach on the 360 none of that backwards stuff on X-Box 1 or MCC I am talking about physical disk in a X-Box 360. Just asking to hold over my long over do Halo play time till MCC gets released on PC with Reach.
Halo: Reach still got some players in Living Dead and Swat, Halo 3 is sadly almost dead and most of it is because 343i still haven’t deactivated the Skill Matchmaking in the Ranked Playlists after all of these years so its almost impossible to find anybody in Halo 3 now.
Note* Halo 3 and Reach (Xbox 360 Version) is the same game even tho if its played on Xbox 360 or Xbox One, you still meet the same people and have the same game, Halo 3 on MCC is different tho.
Reach has a good population. A few thousand regular players. Halo 3 has much less and you can usually only find a match in Social Slayer and Lone Wolves. With Reach coming to MCC, I imagine most people will drop the 360 version and move over. Just a heads up that the player count may drop significantly once that happens.
I was on Halo Reach last night and I saw roughly 4,000 players.
Reach is still very solid numbers but I’m sure it will change once it comes to Mcc

Yep, MCC is coming to PC and with it comes Halo: Reach to the Master Chief Collection as a DLC/Add-On

Yeah I got Halo Reach Free a long long time ago when it was free with gold on 360, this was before the Xbox One I believe.
i play reach every week and i find that their are still many people who are playing reach however im not sure about halo 3
Halo Reach has a good player base count left. Even in the middle of the night depending on your time zone. Halo 3 is sadly pretty much dead
