Halo 3 and H.3:ODST Map Crossovers

Now, I’m really not sure too much how to do these forum things, so I’m sorry if I’m reposting yet I didn’t see what I posted so I’ll say it again. Now, I was coming up for ideas for Halo 3 ODST and Halo 3. My idea was that all H.3 Multiplayer maps could become H.3:ODST Firefight maps and all H.3:ODST Firefight maps could become H.3 Multiplayer maps. I was also thinking about H.3:ODST Firefight forge yet I was thinking about new features and how respawning should be changed so in sted of a seconds timer for respawns, it’s based on respawning next wave, next round or next set. As an addition to player respawn/spawn points, I think that there could be A.I. spawn points (either for enemies or friendlies) that also uses the same respawn system I was talking about earlier. In the custom firefight, I think that every round, you can enable marines to be dropped down by pelicans or ODSTs by pods. In addition, I think that the “marines” on Security Zone, Alpha Site, Windward and Chasm Ten (as the ODST maps) and Longshore and Foundary (as the new Halo 3 maps) should actually be the police we got to fight with in the H.3:ODST Campaign, but they operate identically to normal marines.

I think you make a number of good points here, forge on ODST FF maps makes a lot of sense to add. H3 and Odst run off the same engine so it would be possible to share maps between the two games.

With that being said I know certain maps like Alpha site could work in oddball and koh, other multiplayer maps or firefight maps would need some work before being used in other game modes. I think this would be a great thing for 343 to roll out and for players to tinker with it with the mod tools and in the cgb. If some of the maps and game modes take off they could be added into matchmaking.
