Going from a game of Halo 1 and 2 into a game of 3 is really jarring. The aiming doesn’t feel right at all. Is there anything they can do to fix it?
I dread getting 3 voted for in Team Slayer due to this.

The whole game (H3) feels like its under water. Its slow, clunky and boring to play, even at 60fps.

Haha…couldn’t agree more. I thought it was just me!
I played quite a bit of Halo 3 on the 360 and I don’t remember it feeling like this. Something is off here.
If it’s not looked into I’m done with Halo 3 forever.
Halo 3 is great, feels just as it did on the 360 and i haven’t noticed anything off. They are different games in the series with a different style, each to their own i guess but i am loving both 2 and 3, that is of course when i can actually play them.
It’s probably due to the field of view from Halo 3. Also the 60 FPS only makes it feel even slower.
It feels fine to me.
Lol fix it? H3 is how it was, its the slowest of all Halos.

I’m just referring to the aiming. The player movement and pace of play feels fine as far as 3 normally feels.
Perhaps I just need to increase sensitivity for Halo 3 alone.

Its down to the aim acceleration that, I believe, was introduced in H3, that’s probably why its slow. H2 and HCE don’t have it so after playing those then going back to H3 it probably just makes it more obvious.
Halo 3 was a slow clunky game to begin with. Easily the worst of the original 3 games.
Well it is the slowest Halo game ever made.
Feels fine to me, excellent campaign.
Feels fine to me, hell, feels better than fine. Halo 3 was and still is my favorite Halo MP. Every game I’ve played on it has been an absolute blast.
This is due to H3’s look mechanics being completely different from H1, and H2. I honestly think H3 had the worse look mechanics out of the series(including Halo4 and Reach, even though H3’s gameplay is waaaay better than H4.) They need to make the acceleration curve more linear like modern games.
There is no changing it, it would require a lot of work to make it feel like the others. This is where COD really shines in my opinion. Sure the gameplay sucks, but the look mechanics in that game are extremely smooth.
I was really good at aiming in the original Halo 3, but now I just can’t get used to it. Halo Ce and Halo 2 feel fine but Halo 3 just feels… off.
People have gotten used to the fact you can just aim the gun at the person and shoot so it feels weird. Remember you have to lead in halo 3 so it feels slower and it actually is but it does take some skill to get used to. If you play halo 4 and go to halo 3 is really noticable

You have to lead in CE much more. 3 is just very slow and clunky.
Ce is clunky as well but for good reason. All the games play great but there is a lack of aim assist compared to other games in halo 3. I won’t argue that the game is slower then the others but it still plays great and if it didn’t I don’t think it would of survived 7 years of gameplay like it did
I def feel the same too. In fact, I feel it in halo 1, 2 and 3 in this game. I never ever had to set my sensitivity level to 10 in halo. I’ve always had it at 6-7 and it was fast for me. Now I have it at 10 and it still feels so damn slow and sluggish. It’s just not as zippier and responsive as I remember it to be. This greatly affects my skills and decreases my confidence in playing this game. When I played COD and Destiny, it’s how halo aiming used to be. Now it’s just like playing underwater like you said.
ugh, -Yoink!- 343.
