Today has been 12 years since Halo 3 has released. What is your most memorable/favorite moments that you had from this game?
4 player finish the last mission all with ghosts.
Oh man, Happy Birthday to the KING! Halo 3 was what got me into Xbox Live in the first place. I loved how natural it felt to play solo and with your buddies, regardless of what mode that was. Either way, you were sure to have an absolute blast. That magic has not been replicated since.
All of the custom games. Nothing, absolutely nothing, beat going on the Xbox 360 with your friends after school/college/work, kicking back and playing custom games.

Yeah… I remember those days
We would play Smear the [REDACTED}. this custom game of Infection in which you had to push this wall or something (BTW what was its name?}, Fat Kid, the classics.
Happy 12th birthday Halo 3! Pretty much the one of my best memories was playing this pretty much 24/7 in the fall of 2007 during my final year in high school. I would rush home, throw my backpack to the ground, turn on my xbox 360, see the xbox 360 startup screen, sign into xbox live, see the blades dashboard(Really wish they bring them back), boot up Halo 3, see the Halo 3 logo, see the green fog(Microsoft game studios), go to matchmaking and ready to play against the hundreds of thousands of players from around the world that were always online. And only games that stop me playing Halo 3 at that time was Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect and Super Mario Galaxy.
One of my favorite memories was Road to Recon with friends. Had so much fun grinding the vidmaster challenges to obtain that legendary armor.
It’s kinda sad that Halo lost the “exclusive touch” nowadays

in Halo 3 I owe everything, my whole future since I bought my first 360 to date, many friendships I still have today date back to that period. But unfortunately many don’t play anymore, I miss that period very much …
Uh probably getting 4 games in a row vs 5 teamers in lw when im tryna play for the 12th anniversary yesterday, by far the most cheaters ive seen in one game so it was pretty interesting
I’ve had countless memories with Halo 3. One of the best memories was being the first in line at my local Gamestop. There were 500+ other people in line and we were all eager, excited, and nervous. The area was issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning so we were all fearing that we weren’t going to be able to pickup our pre-orders. Thankfully, the storm missed us. I remember walking out of the store with the limited edition console, Legendary edition, and one of the Koto Master Chief statues. Everyone started cheering and was so happy that the time had finally come.
Custom Games. Those were the highlight of my weekends. We would play everything from Sky Castles to Jenga.
