Halo 2A performance with OG graphics on low end PC

I’m running Halo MCC on a low end PC.
Halo Combat Evolved runs fine with the OG Xbox graphics, but it stutters a little with the remastered graphics.
I know that my PC will not handle the remastered version of Halo 2, but I wonder if I set to the OG graphics it will have a decent performance.
Can anybody confirm if Halo 2 runs better on PC when you use the original Xbox graphics? Or is it somehow rendering both graphics in the background and will most likely run horribly here?

For the record, I tried myself and yes, it does run well with OG graphics.
