Halo 2 Anniversary is so much more fun than infinite but it’s super underrated. I wish it had way more maps its so good.

I agree, they should really make some proper dev-made remakes like remakes of midship, beaver creek, turf, waterworks, terminal, and so many more maps! Also as a side question is the forge map “oracle” in matchmaking supposed to be a remake of midship?

Halo 2 Anniversary was such an exciting “new game”, but it was such a let down with 343i only bringing a few maps into the mix. Please give us those original maps 343i!

Beaver creek they made in forge when 343 were showcasing for the first time forge for H2A would be nice on matchmaking.

Halo 2A is the only thing I play because it is truly a masterpiece. More maps would be great, but sadly 343 announced they are no longer creating any more content for the MCC game at this point moving exclusively over to Infinite.
I hope one day Halo 5 makes its way into MCC because it would be great to play that on PC, but I highly doubt that will happen.

They made a blog post on waypoint with plans to add more updates to the MCC in the foreseeable future.

H2A other than the vehicles maybe being a little squishy I honestly think would be my favourite MP to play if it just had more maps and some more armour to customize your Spartan/Elite, even if it was just ports of some of the other armour pieces from Halo 3 and Halo Reach.
To top it off too I can’t wait for it to be added to the CGB as it has the most advanced forge in the collection so I can’t wait to see some of the custom games people make with it.
