I’ve been playing Halo MCC on PC since launch. Halo: Reach and Halo CE: Anniversary both run well enough (outside of minor audio bugs). I installed the Halo 2: Anniversary campaign and hit quickstart. The new Blur studio cutcenes began playing, and I could swap between them and the original cutscenes with no trouble. However, when I got into the actual game, none of the textures or lightmaps had loaded in on Anniversary mode.
Dynamic lights and emissive objects were visible, and I could make out silhouettes of the geometry, but everything else was pitch black. Switching to the original graphics, everything worked fine, and looked normal. I tried playing through the fist mission, but after about five minutes I got “Fatal Error - UE4 Engine” and had to close the game. I’ve tried restarting my computer, and my graphics drivers are up to date.
My specs are:
Ryzen 5 2600
Nvidia GTX 1660 Super
16GB DDR4 3200
