3 months ago me and my friend took upon are selfs to play through all the campaigns together on legendary on the MCC but when we got this recurring problem that really annoyed us. This was when we died even with Iron skull off, it kept resetting to last checkpoint. Now we did not want to have to complete it with this problem and in the last 3 months it has no been fixed and we really want to play through them in order which at the moment we cannot do. Now plz 343 if you see this fix it as it would be greatly appreciated.
That’s not a bug; in Halo 2 (both the original Bungie version and Anniversary) the effects of the Iron skull are always present on Legendary. If either of you die you will revert to the last checkpoint regardless of whether or not the skull is turned on.
343 would have to intentionally rework the feature put in by Bungie which I can’t see them doing if they want to keep the games close to the originals.
Ok thanks for clearly that up it was just confusing to why it was there but that if it is supposed to be there thats fine I might as well play through it on laso as that would make it worth thanks again
