My friend and I are playing Halo 2A legendary co-op and the game treats it as if we have the iron skull is on, but it’s not. Everytime we die, it sends us back to our last checkpoint, but we have checked and we do NOT have the skull on. Does anyone know what to do?
Going into a mission with the skull turned on then backing out to the menu might work.

That’s How Halo 2 on legendary has always been. The Iron Skull is automatically turned on. There’s nothing you can do to turn it off, it is one of the reasons Halo 2’s Legendary campaign is so difficult.
That’s how Halo 2 was. It’s not a bug.

What he said ^
Even though they changed it in singleplayer… use to start the whole mission over if you died, so they should have changed it in co op also.
