So i have been talking to a number of my friends and discussing the different games in the halo series. We’ve noticed that there is a remake of halo 1, my friends and i were curious to know if there will be a remake of halo 2 like halo anniversary was made? If anyone knows about this or has a url link they can show me please let me know id like to know.

someone was telling me a while back that latter their gonna remake ALL the original trilogy on the next Xbox. i trust this source but…

It’s possible that it may be remade as there is no online play for it currently. I’d imagine something similar to how Halo: CE Anniversary was produced, we were given six classic maps in a map pack with a Campaign but no Multiplayer.
However, the maps given to us in Halo: CE Anniversary were not only from the original game but also from Halo 2, so if I were to guess, we’d get some maps from Halo 2 and some from Halo 3 in a Halo 2 Anniversary remake. Of course this is all purely speculation, but one definite fact is that if there is a Halo 2 Anniversary game coming, it’ll be on it’s ten year anniversary, the 9th of November 2014.
Thank you guys, i appreciate it. Being a big halo fan among other people, thinking in the back of my mind about remake of Halo 2 has caught my interest a lot. So i hope there is a remake and i will looking forward to it in the future.

Hang around the Halo 2 forums once in a while and I’m sure you’ll hear about it sooner than most of us do, they’re pretty adamant about it being remade on there, I’d like to see it too, to be honest.
Would love to see in maybe the last game, Halo 6? Have all the multiplayer maps ever made put on one disc for the price of like $60.00 i would most defiantly buy the disc. Playing on all the old maps would make multiplayer gameplay so much fun. Not sure if anyone has thought of this. I mean yeah some people have bought the maps off the marketplace, but having all of the maps on one disc and downloading them onto your xbox you can’t beat that. Of course it would take a long time for it to be installed, but i think it would well worth it in my opinion.

Guranteed in 2014. It was already discussed in an issue of OXM earlier this year. 2014 would be the 10 year anniversary of Halo and this could be and expansion of maps on Halo 4 just like the last anniversary did a year after Halo: Reach dropped. Only issue is Halo 2 Anniversary will be on XBOX 720.
