I agree, it would be awesome if microsoft came out with a seperate release of halo 2 anniversary, and remastered all the maps, and brought back all of the original maps and gametypes, plus some favorites like infection and what not, and also adding forge, forge world, and having the ability to forge any map, like in eldewrito (halo online).

i agree. but im a casual player, so i like it in a different way than most people do

I wouldn’t say its the best BUT it’s a tad short from Halo 3’s multiplayer. I say that and my stomach is in knots. I say Halo 3 edge’s out Halo 2 because Halo 3 introduced Forge mode. With Forge, we say some amazing maps for matchmaking, customs, and MLG games which set the bar for future Halo titles. I grew up with Halo 2 and played as much as I could I absolutely LOVED Halo 2 multiplayer and I still do. Though with all the modders in matchmaking made things difficult and frustrating, it was still fun. I get all giddy with excitement when playing Halo 2 on MCC

you can play on mcc. i think 343 just said they were trying to make the mtachmaking faster for a few of the playlist and i remember h2 classic being one of them.
Halo 2 was my personal favorite but Halo 3 was like the perfected version. If you’ve only played h3 on MCC then just know that MCC didn’t do h3 any justice. Both are my favorite halos.
