I just wish i could go back somehow… i remember when Halo at my friends house each friday is what i looked forward to most in my life, I remember Halo 3, i remember halo 2… I just wanna cry but as sad as can be my eyes remain dry. Halo was the best game ever made EVER!

BEST FREAKING POST EVER! bro i know how you feel and i still do lan parties for halo 2 but our group got smaller because of new games titles. The traditional soda and popcorn and hot pockets with the laughs and classics t-bagging was the best of 2002-2009. Online is still great, but not as effective as seeing the expression on owning your friends IRL.

Where I live everyones into Reach and CoD Zombies… even if its LAN.
Halo is like the only real game on xbox to me, i never really cared for other games. I wish i lived near you
i feel as though my generation missed most important and best game because no one ever got to play it and noy they think halo “sux cuse you can’t scope in” and i never even got to play the multiiplayer because my budies and me nieghbors never had 2 xboxes at the same time and now no one around throughs land parties. =[

The atmosphere, the story, the variety, the gameplay, the multiplayer maps, the SOUNDTRACK (oh my gosh, YES) were second to none; Bungie has failed to come near any of these in the games that followed. I for one would pay a LOT of money for a HD remake of Halo 2. Please, 343, make it happen!

If they wanna do a remake they should scrap the idea and go with a time machine instead

it seems the only good thing 343i will be able to do for the Halo Franchise is a remake of Halo 2, but it has to be a proper remake: i think most of you also agree Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary was the biggest letdown of 2011.
How was it a letdown? Did you expect them to remake it with the Reach engine? No it’s just the same campaign as before but with richer graphics. Or maybe you thought they would include original Halo CE multiplayer instead of Reach’d remakes.
I’d pay 60 or 70 bucks for a remake of Halo 2 so I could play it on 360 with NO GHOSTING ISSUES. Sometimes I get so distracted I die over and over - high charity.

It was an exact remake of the Halo 1 campaign. They even threw in a map pack for Reach’s multi player? What more were you expecting?
I actually wrote a paper here at West Virginia University for English class about this topic. I recieved an A+. The highest grade for a single paper I wrote the entire semester.
