What similarities are there between these two? What differences? I’d love to hear your guys opinion.
All in all, I can’t think of much. Halo 5 multiplayer is more similar to Halo 1 multiplayer than it is to Halo 2 multiplayer, but the weapon balancing in Halo 5 makes it (5) unlike almost any previous Halo title.
Honestly, they’re completely different. You can’t compare the two.
I like halo 5’s better personally because of the weapon balance and Spartan abilities. I hated feeling so slow in the other games.

Mine was Halo 3 and I despised its stiffness, utterly ridiculous. Halo Reach sparked it for me years later.
There is nothing similar.

Okay, that’s why then. You came in late so you really didn’t learn to play Halo when it was “slow” as you call it. No big deal. It makes sense as to why you think that now.

My first Halo game was CE in 2001 when i bought the original Xbox, i was 16 and this was the first console i bought with my own money, and i agree with this. In my opinion Halo 5 is miles better than previous installments.
I try, every now and then, to go back to MCC for some hits of nostalgia but for me everything but CE and Halo 4 on there is nearly unplayable.

Halo 2 and 3 are 100x better then Halo 5 Gaurdians 
Coming from an old HALO vet (HALO 2 in 2006), I see many similarities between the two. The weapon balance, competitive focus, and map rotation give me the classic vibes!

In my opinion Halo 2 and 3 have, by far, the worst MP in the series.
Halo 3 has the greatest Multiplayer
I like Halo 5’s Warzone is fun
Game play is obviously very different but the team work that was needed in h2 and h3 is back in h5.
personally ive only played about 2 matches on halo 2 online but that’s cus I didn’t get live until halo 3 was the newest game
