So this thread is mainly just a reminder that Halo 5 forge and a separate but identical custom games system(like the custom browser) is implemented into the FREE download of Halo Forge on the windows store. You see when they said “free” I originally believed they meant only with a (somehow)verified ownership of Halo 5: Guardians on the Xbox One but NOPE its entirely free.
If you have windows 10 and browse these forums for a little hope or love to come to those on the PC, here`s the chance; an entirely free multiplayer experience like we had for Halo 1 except the campaign or warzone but with the entirety of forge and SOME cross-platform features (no not multiplayer or CO-OP in any way). This is the closest a Halo FPS has officially come to a pc since 2007 with Halo 2 vista. If you enjoyed having a full fledged Halo FPS on the PC then I implore you all that CAN play Halo on the PC to do so and if they have an itch for customs, choose the PC give it some physical support and help regrow a community that was forced to dissipate due to time and ill planning.
Some suggestions to help grow would be word of mouth, or talking to some old friends you met on Halo 2 PC, social media is also a valid option.
