Alright I’m currently using my laptop because I’m buying parts for my Desktop and it can run Halo 2 Vista but it lags. Is there anything that I could download so that I can change the graphic settings? Because I really want to play this game smoothly.

The only reason it will be lagging is due to the outdated tech in your Laptop, nothing you can do but wait until you have those PC parts.
Turning it down to 800X600 resolution and low detail level is all you can do. If it still lags you’re SOL and need more power.
best thing i can think of is if you have a computer with more then one core, open the game, alt tab out and CTRL + Shift + ESC to open task manager and go to the processes tab. Find halo2.exe on the list, right click on it and click set affinity, make it so it only uses the last core in the list and then set the priority to above normal. you are doing this because by default a lot of programs use core 0, especially 32 bit programs, by default, setting it to another core just means there is less stuff running on it.
if you dont have more then one core then the onlything you could do is set the priority higher or overclock your GPU but thats dangerous especially on a laptop, if you do choose to over clock it, before you play do some stress test and make sure its not gonna over heat while playing
