I think this would be an absolutely great idea, this would boost the amount of players that play the game and possibly create a better community. I want to see what everyone else’s opinions on this subject.

I <3 steam and 343, I like teh idea. and it would be cool we if were able to play our steam games on teh xbox, unlikely though

Until Games for windows becomes better i won’t buy any game on it. So i would love to see it on steam and i would buy it.

Yes, H2V on Steam would be great. Too bad it won’t be free like TF2. But it would greatly boost the amount of players.
Maybe if it is like $10, it would be a huge hit on Steam. Many people don’t buy Halo 2 because of it being on Games for Windows Live. Maybe they can keep the achievements and the windows live on, just make it playable through Steam?

I am a steam user and i agree 100 percent.
They need to make the original H2 vista work properly first. GFWL is pretty good actually, I’ve had no problems at all and been using about 2-3 years, not 1 problem. Halo 2 however, STILL has no Vsync so it runs horrible.
I agree, although I heard that it was a lousy port.
It would be AMAZING if Halo 2 came out for Steam!

Firstly, Halo 2 PC should be available on the Games for Windows Marketplace.
Secondly, it should be avalable on Steam too.
