So me and a fellow H2V guy looked at each other one day and we both though, damn this game needs new players. So we both put together some cash and bought a whole bunch of CD Keys for the game, and then we made a site for it Here.

I’m tempted. I loved H2 and haven’t played since I gave my old XBox to my nephews.
I’ve never used torrents, though. Will it play well on a 7 OS machine? I’d imagine the graphic card requirements are rather low, right?

Torrents are illegal, but I lent a copy of Halo 2 Vista from a friend a while back and installed it, I hopped the CD Key in just then and it worked, I can play online on it now.
I don’t know if I want to do the torrent download, but I’ll see if a friend still has the CD. I’d love to play H2 again and if I can get it to play on my laptop (and it should easily) I’d be really stoked. It’d be like a super Gameboy. LOL

Not true. Torrents are legal. Using them to download content illegally is illegal.
The same as the internet is legal, but using it for downloading things illegally is illegal.

So either way you put it, what the guy is linking to download is, illegal, a free copy of Halo 2 Vista.
The reason this isn’t illegal is because you are downloading the games installer, when you buy a piece of software its not necessarily for the thing you hold its for the ability to fully use it.
It is also not illegal because the torrent has no crack/keygen/hack files its just the installer.

Isn’t MF.dll a crack? I’ve seen it before…
No its not it is a valid thing for the game as it would not load the dll if it was not supposed to be there, it was just not shipped with the game after the first recall if im correct.
I have it downloading now. With controller in hand I am waiting patiently. LOL
The MF.dll did in fact come with the game, I had obtained H2V from gamestop a week early ( i knew a guy :p) And it had it in the games disk. But then when it was recalled apparently it was removed.

I got it on the original release date(before recall) for $40 like some others did since Circuit City still put it out and it was listed in their ad as on sale that week for $10 off. 
I don’t know, guys. I got the game downloaded and even played the first part of the campaign. But I tried over a dozen activation keys and none worked. Each time a new one came up, but nothing on any of them.

What nonsense is this? It is still illegal, you are simply giving out illegal keys instead of having some software do it. The fact you are desperate enough to trick people in to getting this game illegally, just so you have more people to play with, disgusts me.
